Master Bruce departs for the USA 1st week in November to run specialised training for Instructors/ School Owners in both Atlanta Georgia and Michigan under the direction of Grandmaster Choi and Choi Kwang-Do International. Catch up work and preperations for this trip has kept Master Bruce from many of the classes since his return from Russia, but he is really looking forward to joining in the classes again when he gets back and catching up with EVERYONE.

NOVEMBER BELT EXAMS - 2008

Started Thursday with the Adults only exams, Friday all coloured belts tested supported by family and friends cheering them on. Sunday we had the Dojang full with Black Belts sitting their exams, with special guest examinees Sanbumnims Mr Vonhoff from CKD West End and Mr Hampton from CKD Cairns central present. It was great to have you guys joining us and we are grateful for the acknowledging comments about the high technical standards displayed by our Black Belts. Special Junior recognition goes to Daniel Cairney for Awesome Effort @ Exam, and Defense Drills - & Issac Barry for Defence Drills and Twisting Kick -well done guys! Thanks go out to all the family and friends who supported our exams this week and to the 'Team CHOI' members, S.W.A.T. WAS A WORD I KEPT HEARING THROUGHOUT THE TOWNSVILLE SEMINAR, WOW WHAT AN EVENT WORDS CAN'T DESCRIBE THE ATMOSPHERE THE EXCITMENT THE GREAT TRAINING, THE "*EXCELLENT* STUDENTS*" AND GRANDMASTER CHOI'S PERFORMANCE WOW WOW WOW - photos are up in the school and the photo slideshow will be up on the LCD screen in the foyer this week. :) A very big thank you to all the staff and instructors at our school who all put in so much time and effort into organising, getting ready and making sure the seminar and banquet were such a success for the Townsville seminar -THANK YOU "Team CHOI"

Representing CHOI KWANG-DO Australia Master Bruce, Ms Preite & Mr Burton have been taking off to National Martial Arts conferances this year with ZUMU, Educational Funding Company EFCA & MAP MARTIAL ARTS PROFESSIONALS (aligned to MAIA-USA) Master Bruce thanks Master Fari for the special recognition he gave us at the MAP conferance. We went to learn , to compare & educate, mixing with some of the most respected martial artists within Australia and from overseas - ... we have even been asked to come back as speakers by two of these both Zumu and EFCA - PIL SUHNG!
